Bohn Armor Pants

Are you like me?

                     ....suddenly.......scared.....

Paul English, Owner

It's funny how suddenly it happened.  Overnight really.

I've been riding on the street since I was 16.  In my mid 20's I started road racing, and though it's not something I should be proud of, I developed a reputation as a crasher!
Win or crash.  I was never afraid of hurting myself and luckily never broke anything - apart from the motorcycles.

So I've always felt really confident riding on the street.  You've got to pay attention to all the traffic nowadays, especially with crossing and pulling out vehicles - but I always felt that I was ready and prepared for it.

But one day, when I was nearly 50, I got on my bike and felt that THEY were out to get me!  Nothing had changed in my life or circumstances - it's just that for some reason, call it age, wisdom or whatever, I felt........ different.  And well, rather scared.

Suddenly I realized why the majority of our customers are in their 50's and 60's - I knew how they felt!

I still wanted to ride, but I wanted to be prepared and protected.  I did not want to advertise this to my friends, as I felt a little embarrassed about it to tell the truth.  And that is really what sold me on the huge need there is for the Bohn Adventure Armored Pants, since I ride in jeans most of the time.

At the time, we were doing quite a few motorcycle trade shows across the country and sometimes I would tell my little story to a customer.  Invariably, they would say in amazement, That's me, too!  You can read my mind!"  This experience has happened well over a hundred times and it's an extraordinary experience to realize that so many of us are thinking in exactly the same way.

My business sells all kinds of motorcycle protection at www.actionstation.com - but I felt sure this solution needed to be explained on it's own site, which is how we came to launch Bohn-Armor-Pants to properly tell the story of how they can transform your motorcycle riding life.
